Materials and construction

The transparent walls are made from 3 mm primary cast acrylic. The black bottom and structural components use impact-resistant PETG plastic. PETG is described as chemically inert and odorless, and it does not release toxic styrene when heated by a heat mat.

The enclosure is assembled with clips and requires no adhesive. This fastening system produces a rigid body during use while allowing the terrarium to be taken apart completely for cleaning and disinfection.

Continuous airflow

A pattern of laser-cut ventilation holes maintains air movement through the enclosure. The resulting circulation helps reduce damp, stagnant areas where mold or fungal growth could occur. The enclosure must still be arranged according to the selected species’ requirements for temperature, humidity, and substrate.

Front access and secure closure

The front door provides direct access for feeding and routine cleaning, avoiding the need to approach the animal through the top every time. Mechanical latches in the “Anti-Escape” system hold the door closed and help keep active inhabitants contained. After maintenance, the keeper should check the latches, joints, and ventilation openings before leaving the enclosure unattended.

Intended inhabitants

The 300x300x200 mm format is intended for terrestrial tarantulas, scorpions including Androctonus and Heterometrus, leopard geckos, and collectible isopod species. Suitability should always be assessed against the size, age, and biological needs of the individual animal.
