ANTMART Origin Yellow A 200×200 mm is a vivid yellow ant farm combining a nest module, a tall arena, and a layout that can be opened gradually as the colony develops. Its construction uses 3 mm acrylic, chemically inert PETG plastic, and a 6 mm G23 gypsum insert.

Room that expands with the colony

The nesting area is divided into four independent sections. Removable partitions let the keeper give a small colony a compact living area first, then connect additional chambers when more space is needed. This avoids exposing a young family to a large unused nest, where ants may begin depositing waste.

Extra clearance for larger ants

The chambers provide 15 mm of space above the gypsum insert. This height can accommodate large Camponotus and Messor queens that may be cramped in common 6–8 mm chambers. Four hydration zones allow moisture to be supplied to separate parts of the nest instead of treating the whole module as a single area.

Arena and access control

The arena is 80 mm high and fitted with a double acrylic lid. The two-layer arrangement helps resist lid warping, while sliding gates secure the openings included in the design. Small or highly active ants still require routine inspection of every joint and the use of a suitable escape barrier.
